Push-ups are as close to a perfect exercise as you can get. They work your entire upper-body (your abs), and can be modified in an infinite number of ways to suit any fitness level. Push-ups emphasize the chest, shoulders and triceps but every muscle in the body has to do its part for a proper push-up to take place.

Push-ups + squats = full body workout.

Oh Hello Tumblr!!!

I have been working really hard lately! I am watching the Biggest Loser so I have been super motivated! My week started off with a 3 hour hard core hip hop class with Ronnie West! If you look him up on YouTube, you would understand how hard I had to work to keep up! :P And what an amazing workout it was!!! I have been really working on my core and I hope to do a bit more toning!

Wish me luck!!!

People keep sending me asks about what I get when I go grocery shopping. So here ya go. This + toiletries was ~$80. I don’t think that is too bad.

This is from a fitness blog I follow … I cringe every time they post what they eat because I see almost NO organics or mentioning of local produce/farmer’s markets.  There is so much GMO in this post that I truly wonder how nutritionally educated these “FITSPO” people are.

being a pretentious ass.
Surprise surprise! Not everyone is a privileged little shit that can afford to purchase organic foods or go to a farmers market and buy their local produce. ‘Round here its 2 dollars for a pound of organic bananas vs 69 cents for the other ones. That’s more than a 100% increase on the price and when you don’t have a lot of money that starts to add up. Grass-fed beef and chicken? Typically 8 dollars a pound. “Free range eggs”? 5 bucks a carton. No thank you.
People like you really grind my fucking gears. lol. Don’t attack others for what foods they choose to consume, its actually none of your fucking business. If it makes you “cringe” (what a little drama queen) when she posts her food then just unfollow her.
whaaat a pompous little fuck. omf.

^ this this this. Some people assume everyone everywhere is able to afford expensive food. Guess what? not everyone is. Some days there’s nothing on my goddamn fridge because we’re broke 50% of the time and I have to suck it up and improvise (actually, i’ve gotten pretty good at that, lol.)
(btw I always love when Lexxa calls people on their shit)

Wow I hate people.

jesus this is still going around why

OH MY GOD HOW DARE YOU NOT EAT ORGANIC FOODS. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU WOULD EAT SO HORRIBLY.
